FITNESS WALK

AWARDS: T-shirts to all ages who participate.

ENTRY FEE: $2.00 paid before November 7; $4.00 on race day.

REPORT: Register and receive race materials at the Wecota Community Center prior to 1:00 on race day.

PROCEEDS: Any money earned from this informal, low-tech event will go to pay costs for upkeep of the Wecota Community Buildings.

LOCATION: Wecota is approximately 10 miles north of Faulkton, S.D. You can reach this thriving community by driving north from Faulkton on county road 11 or by driving 5 miles west of state Highway 45 on Highway 20. Then drive 1 mile south to Wecota. The race will be run around a section on gravel, dirt, and paved roads.

POT LUCK: Participants, local residents, and out-of-towners are encouraged to come to the pot luck to wish our participants congratulations after the race. We would be grateful if you would bring an offering of food for the pot luck, or you can give a donation.
