Sunday, September 7th, 2003 - Run for Your Life 10k - Rapid City, SD
Where:  At the large shelter in Sioux Park located between the running
track, soccer field, and basketball courts.  The route will follow the bike
path from Sioux Park to the half-way point at approximately Memorial Park,
and return to the start/finish line in Sioux Park.
When:  Race Day registration at the Sioux park shelter from 7:15 am to 8:00
am. Race starts at 8:30 am.  Pre-registration anytime at Fitness One in Baken
Park Shopping Center, next to boyd’s.
Cost:  $7.00 pre-registration, $10.00 race day.  Covers T-shirts for all

The run begins in front of the Scotland Swimming Pool.  It is a fairly flat course.  The first half of the race takes you on a paved road that runs east out of Scotland.  And then there is a turn around point, and we run back.
Registration is from 7:00 to 8:00 AM on Saturday, September 14th.  Registration will be right in front of the swimming pool also. Registration is $9.00 before the end of August, and $10.00 after September 1

Saturday, September 13th, 2003 - Gold Bar 5k, Brookings, SD
Race begins and ends at DePuy Military Hall on the SDSU campus. First, Second, and Third place medals will be awarded to the top male and female runners. Post race refreshments will be provided. All participants receive a long-sleeve t-shirt and a water bottle. A number of prizes will be raffled off after the awards. Proceeds benefit the Army ROTC cadet fund.
