Starts at the Four Seasons Health Club in Sioux City, Iowa (1600 7th Street)
start time 5k and 10k at 10:20am.
Awards - Cash awards for overall winners and Masters AG winners in both races.
 
Thursday, November 24th, 2005 1st Annual Run For Food - Downtown Sioux Falls, SD
6 mile and 3 mile Banquet Benefit Runs: 8:00 am start time!
Suggested $10 donation to the Banquet Or food donation to the Food Bank
Run starts and finishes along Main Avenue by the Banquet [300 N. Main Ave].
Runners want to run and runners want to eat; therefore we want to run before we eat on Thanksgiving.
Give us a purpose to get together and assist / remember others that aren’t as fortunate.
?No registration.   ? No frills.     ?No T-shirt give away.     ?No refreshments.
Just get together to run with others; and support a good cause on a day to give thanks.
Please consider a goodwill donation and running with friends.
I have already been asked if non-runners can sponsor / donate funds to a runner.
Obviously, that’s fine; just bring the donation along with you that morning.  If others want to contribute or want to come
down that morning and walk for a ¼ mile or a mile prior to enjoying the rest of their day; that is also fine.   Everyone is welcome.
The courses will be a loop:
The three mile will be north along Main to Russell, east along North Drive over the Spillway to the Bike Trail and down the trail through Falls Park to 8th Street; From 8th Street runners will leave the Trail and go west to Main and return to the Banquet.
The six mile will be north along Main to Russell, east along North Drive over the Spillway to the Bike Trail and down the trail through Falls Park to Cherry Rock Park; Runners will leave the Park across the Historic Cherry Rock Bridge onto River Blvd. go west to Main and return to the Banquet.

meet at the Pierre Chamber of Commerce, 800 W. Dakota Ave. (1st right off the bridge)
(All proceeds donated to local charity). No awards, drawings for door prizes. Come burn some calories before dinner!
