Saturday, November 6th, 2004 - Bob Bartling Hobo Day 5k - Brookings, SD
To help celebrate SDSU's Homecoming, Prairie Striders sponsors a 5K road race every Hobo Day before the Hobo Day parade. The flat 5K course begins and ends near Godfather's Pizza at 6th Street and Medary Avenue. Post-race refreshments are provided. All race participants receive a distinctive 2003 commemorative Hobo Day Run mug (suitable for whatever beverage you wish to fill it with).
Start Location: Godfather's Pizza, 6th Street and Medary Ave, Brookings, SD
Registration: 7:00 am - 8:00 am at Godfather's Pizza, 6th Street and Medary Ave, Brookings
Course: Around and through SDSU Campus. Entry Fee: $15.00

Sunday, November 7th, 2004 - The 2nd Annual Wecota 4 mile Run, 2 mile walk -  Wecota, SD
Starts at 1:30pm. Wecota is approximately 10 miles north of Faulkton, S.D. You can reach this thriving community
by driving north from Faulkton on county road 11 or by driving 5 miles west of state Highway 45 on Highway 20.
Then drive 1 mile south to Wecota. The race will be run around a section on gravel, dirt, and paved roads.

meet at the Pierre Chamber of Commerce, 800 W. Dakota Ave. (1st right off the bridge)
(All proceeds donated to local charity). No awards, drawings for door prizes. Come burn some calories before dinner!
