Saturday, August 4th, 2007 1st Annual Dog Jog 5k, 1 mile, Fawick Park, Sioux Falls, SD
Second Chance Rescue Center is hosting its first annual Dog Jog, Saturday, August 4th. You can run 5K with your dog,
or walk the trail at a slower pace. If you don't have a dog to walk, we have many shelter dogs that would love the chance
to participate in the event to get some much needed exercise. Or, you can participate without a dog. Either way,
this is going to be a fun and healthy way for you and your family to get exercise while also helping raise money for a very worthy cause!

Saturday, August 11th, 2007 - The 23rd annual Whetstone Road Race, Dewey Pistulka Memorial 5k/10k - Bonesteel, SD
The race begins at 8 AM with registration at 7AM and will be held at the Bonesteel Fairfax High School gym.
There is a 5K and 10K race held on a TAC Certified course. Age groups are PreHigh School, High School,
Post High School to 29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. 1st place over all male and female and

Saturday, August 25, 2007 - Montrose 5K Run and 1 Mile Run/Walk - Montrose, SD
Registration day of race, 8 am on Main Street. 5K begins at 8:30 am, 1 Mile Family Run/Walk
begins at 9:30 am. Entry fee is $8, proceeds go to benefit families in need in the Montrose community.
All finishers from both events will get a medal. The event will be timed, and the atmosphere will be casual!
Following the event, Montrose will also host a day of festivities including a parade, bean bag tournament, kickball tournament,
kids games, baked potato supper, free swimming and music by the Neo Johnsons!
